That cannot be over-ridden by the end-user.Avast tries to install Google Chrome by default and configure it to be your default browser.Avast installs WebRep plugins into FireFox and Safari by default. Mail Shield doesn't like some SSL mail servers apparently due to load-balanced configurations or alternate domain names/mismatches, etc. The set-up for SSL via Mail Shield is buggy and problematic in most instances.
